स्नापयेद्विधिना रुद्रं गन्धचन्दनवारिणा पञ्चगव्यविधानेन गृह्य पात्रे ऽभिमन्त्र्य च
snāpayedvidhinā rudraṃ gandhacandanavāriṇā pañcagavyavidhānena gṛhya pātre 'bhimantrya ca
Debe bañarse a Rudra conforme al rito prescrito, con agua impregnada de fragancia y sándalo. Y, según la observancia del pañcagavya, tomándolo en un recipiente consagrado, tras santificarlo primero con mantras, ejecútese la ablución—honrando a Pati (Śiva) para aflojar los pāśa que atan al paśu (el alma).
