Shloka 3

एकार्णव-सृष्टिक्रमः, ब्रह्म-विष्णु-परस्परप्रवेशः, शिवस्य आगमनं च

मध्ये चैकार्णवे तस्मिन् शङ्खचक्रगदाधरः जीमूताभो ऽम्बुजाक्षश् च किरीटी श्रीपतिर्हरिः

madhye caikārṇave tasmin śaṅkhacakragadādharaḥ jīmūtābho 'mbujākṣaś ca kirīṭī śrīpatirhariḥ

En medio de aquel océano único estaba Hari—portador de la caracola, el disco y la maza—oscuro como nube de lluvia, de ojos de loto, coronado y Señor de Śrī. En la comprensión śaiva, esta visión de Hari surge dentro del propio campo de manifestación del Pati (Śiva), presagiando el ordenado surgir de la creación desde las aguas sin límite.
