Shloka 39

ईशानकल्पवृत्तान्तः तथा लैङ्गपुराणस्य संक्षेप-सूची

श्रद्धासाध्यो ऽथ रुद्रस्तु कथितं ब्रह्मणा तदा मधुना कैटभेनैव पुरा हृतगतेर्विभोः

śraddhāsādhyo 'tha rudrastu kathitaṃ brahmaṇā tadā madhunā kaiṭabhenaiva purā hṛtagatervibhoḥ

Entonces Brahmā declaró que a Rudra se le alcanza por śraddhā, la fe sagrada y firme, recordando cómo en tiempos antiguos Madhu y Kaiṭabha confundieron el discernimiento y el curso del Señor.
