Aghora-Mantra Japa: Graded Expiations, Pañcagavya Purification, and Homa for Mahāpātaka-Nivṛtti

तस्माज्जपेद्द्विजो नित्यं सर्वपापविशुद्धये

tasmājjapeddvijo nityaṃ sarvapāpaviśuddhaye

Por ello, el dvija (dos veces nacido) debe hacer japa cada día para la completa purificación de todos los pecados. Así se afloja el pāśa (atadura) que liga al paśu (alma) y se lo vuelve hacia el Pati, el Señor Śiva.
