Ritual Type: Parvana
Beneficiary: Pitr

Concept: Ritual efficacy depends on sequence (krama), purity acts (ācamana/gandūṣa), mantra reinforcement (Gāyatrī, madhu-ṛks), and explicit confirmation of satisfaction (tṛpti).
Vedantic Theme: Karma-yoga framing: disciplined action with attentiveness and reverence purifies the doer; speech acts (praśna/uttara) formalize intention and completion.
Application: Follow a clear checklist in rites; confirm closure with participants; use simple purificatory steps (water, cleanliness) and symbolic boundaries to maintain focus and respect.

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: ritual-space (mandala on ground)

It formally confirms that the hospitality and offerings have been accepted and found pleasing by the Brāhmaṇas (as deva-representatives), completing that segment of the rite with consent and auspicious closure.
It gives procedural details of śrāddha: mantra-recitation, respectful inquiries of satisfaction, the special pitṛ-context sign (vāma-upavīta), and concluding acts like sprinkling water and scattering sesame—core elements of pitṛ-kārya.
Perform remembrance rites with clarity and respect: follow a clean, ordered procedure, seek the blessings/satisfaction of elders or officiants, and keep the intention of gratitude and duty (dharma) central rather than mere formality.
