आस्ते स्थाणुरिवैकत्र दिव्यं वर्षशतं स्थिर: । वासुदेवे भगवति नान्यद्वेदोद्वहन् रतिम् ॥ ३९ ॥
āste sthāṇur ivaikatra divyaṁ varṣa-śataṁ sthiraḥ vāsudeve bhagavati nānyad vedodvahan ratim
Así permaneció en un solo lugar, inmóvil como un tronco, durante cien años según el cómputo de los devas. Pasado ese tiempo, despertó en él una atracción devocional pura por Bhagavān Vāsudeva, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, y quedó firmemente establecido en esa condición.
bahūnāṁ janmanām ante jñānavān māṁ prapadyate vāsudevaḥ sarvam iti sa mahātmā sudurlabhaḥ
