Pṛthu Mahārāja Meets the Four Kumāras: Bhakti as the Boat Across Saṁsāra

FAQs

This verse states that when the brāhmaṇas are pleased with a person, even the greatest attainments—both worldly and spiritual—become accessible, because divine favor naturally follows.

While instructing his citizens, Pṛthu emphasizes dharma grounded in honoring the spiritually learned; their blessings signify alignment with righteousness, which attracts the satisfaction of Viṣṇu and Śiva.

Seek guidance from genuine, learned, and virtuous teachers; support dharmic education and service, and cultivate humility—spiritual progress becomes steadier when one lives in a way that pleases the wise and the Lord.
