अपे॒मां मात्रां॑ मिमीमहे॒ यथाप॑रं॒ न मासा॑तै । श॒ते श॒रत्सु॒ नो पु॒रा

IAST Transliteration

apémā́ṃ mā́trāṃ mimīmahe yáthā́paraṃ ná mā́sātai | śaté śáratsu no purā́

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Away this measure we do mete, that it be not thereafter spent in months: a hundred autumns—so for us, as in the days of old.

Translation

Lejos medimos esta medida, para que después no se agote en meses: cien otoños — así sea para nosotros, como en los días de antaño.
