यत् प्राण स्तनयित्नुनाभिक्रन्दत्योषधीः । प्र वीयन्ते गर्भान् दधतेऽथो बह्वीर्वि जायन्ते
yát prāṇá stanayitnúnābhikŕandaty óṣadhīḥ | prá vī́yante gárbhān dadhaté ’thó bahvī́r ví jāyante ||
When Prāṇa, with thunder for his fellow, crieth aloud upon the Herbs, then do they spread forth; they take to them the embryos, and, moreover, many are they that are born abroad.
Cuando Prāṇa, con el trueno por compañero, clama en voz alta sobre las Hierbas, entonces ellas se extienden; acogen en sí los gérmenes, y, además, muchas nacen por doquier.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition attributes the Prāṇa-hymns to seers in the Atharvan/Āṅgirasa milieu (Prāṇa-stuti complex).
Devata: Prāṇa (vital breath), with thunder/rain as its operative manifestation
