O Lord, Mahīṣāsura, having seized the offices and authorities of the Aśvins, the Sun, the Moon, Vāyu, Agni, the Creator (Brahmā), Varuṇa, Indra, and the rest, has expelled us from heaven; we have been cast down and made to dwell upon the earth.
