यथा मूढो यथा मूर्खो यथा बधिर एव वा ।
तथा वर्तेत लोकस्य स्वसामर्थ्यस्य गुप्तये ॥

IAST Transliteration
yathā mūḍho yathā mūrkho yathā badhira eva vā |
tathā varteta lokasya svasāmarthyasya guptaye ||
Translation
As one who is dull, as one who is foolish, or as one who is truly deaf—so should one conduct oneself toward the world, in order to conceal one’s own powers.
