आरम्भश्च घटश्चैव तथा परिचयः स्मृतः । निष्पत्तिश्चेत्यवस्था च सर्वत्र परिकीर्तिता ॥

IAST Transliteration

ārambhaś ca ghaṭaś caiva tathā paricayaḥ smṛtaḥ | niṣpattiś cety avasthā ca sarvatra parikīrtitā ||

Translation

The stages are everywhere proclaimed as: the beginning (ārambha), the “pot” (ghaṭa), likewise the familiarization (paricaya) is remembered, and the consummation (niṣpatti) as the final state.
