Yagyavalkya
जातस्य ग्रहरोगादि कुमारस्य च धूर्तता । उपनीतेऽप्यविद्यत्वमनुद्वाहश्च पण्डिते ॥२५॥
जातस्य । ग्रह-रोग-आदि । कुमारस्य । च । धूर्तता । उपनीते । अपि । अविद्यत्वम् । अनुद्वाहः । च । पण्डिते ॥२५॥
jātasya graharogādi kumārasya ca dhūrtatā | upanīte 'py avidyatvam anudvāhaś ca paṇḍite ||25||
For one who is born there are afflictions—such as planetary influences and disease; and for a boy there is also roguishness. Even after initiation (upanayana), ignorance remains; and for the learned, too, there can be non‑marriage.
