IAST Transliteration

oṃ tisraḥ purās tripathā viśvacarṣaṇā atrākathā akṣarāḥ sanniviṣṭāḥ | adhiṣṭhāyainā ajarā purāṇī mahattarā mahimā devatānām ||1||

Translation

Om. Three are the citadels (purās), and threefold are the paths that uphold all peoples; here the unutterable, imperishable realities are set in place. Presiding over them is the ageless, ancient Power—the greater glory of the deities.
