Naadbindu

जाग्रन्निद्राविनिर्मुक्तः स्वरूपावस्थतामियात्॥

दृष्टिः स्थिरा यस्य विना सदृश्यम् वायुः स्थिरो यस्य विना प्रयत्नम् ।

चित्तं स्थिरं यस्य विनावलम्बम् स ब्रह्मतारान्तरनादरूपः॥

इत्युपनिषत्॥५५–५६॥

जाग्रत्-निद्रा-विनिर्मुक्तः । स्वरूप-अवस्थताम् इयात् ॥

दृष्टिः स्थिरा यस्य विना सदृश्यम् । वायुः स्थिरः यस्य विना प्रयत्नम् ।

चित्तम् स्थिरम् यस्य विना अवलम्बम् । सः ब्रह्म-तारा-अन्तर-नाद-रूपः ॥

इति उपनिषत् ॥ ५५–५६ ॥

jāgrannidrā-vinirmuktaḥ svarūpāvasthatām iyāt ||

dṛṣṭiḥ sthirā yasya vinā sadṛśyam vāyuḥ sthiro yasya vinā prayatnam |

cittaṃ sthiraṃ yasya vināvalambam sa brahmatārāntaranādarūpaḥ ||

Freed from waking and sleep, one should become established in one’s own essential nature. He whose gaze is steady without fastening upon any similar outer object, whose breath is steady without effort, whose mind is steady without support—he is of the nature of the inner sound (nāda) within the Brahma-tārā, the syllable Oṃ.
