Naadbindu

काष्ठवज्ज्ञायते देह उन्मन्यावस्थया ध्रुवम् ।

न जानाति स शीतोष्णं न दुःखं न सुखं तथा ॥

काष्ठ-वत् ज्ञायते देहः उन्मनि-अवस्थया ध्रुवम् ।

न जानाति सः शीत-उष्णम् न दुःखम् न सुखम् तथा ॥

kāṣṭhavajjñāyate deha unmanyāvasthayā dhruvam |

na jānāti sa śītoṣṇaṃ na duḥkhaṃ na sukhaṃ tathā ||

In the state of unmanī, the body is surely perceived as though it were wood. He knows neither cold nor heat, nor likewise pain and pleasure.

In the state of unmanī, the body is certainly perceived as if it were wood. He does not know cold and heat, nor likewise pain and pleasure.
