ॐ इत्येकाक्षरं ब्रह्म यदुक्तं ब्रह्मवादिभिः । शरीरं तस्य वक्ष्यामि स्थानं कालत्रयं तथा ॥२॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

ॐ । इति । एक-अक्षरम् । ब्रह्म । यत्-उक्तम् । ब्रह्म-वादिभिः । शरीरम् । तस्य । वक्ष्यामि । स्थानम् । काल-त्रयम् । तथा ॥ २ ॥

IAST Transliteration

oṃ ity ekākṣaraṃ brahma yad uktaṃ brahmavādibhiḥ | śarīraṃ tasya vakṣyāmi sthānaṃ kālatrayaṃ tathā ||2||

Translation

“Oṃ”—the single syllable—is Brahman, as declared by the expounders of Brahman. I shall describe its body, its locus, and likewise the threefold time.

Academic Translation

‘Oṃ’—the one syllable—is Brahman, as has been stated by the expounders of Brahman. I shall declare its body, its locus, and likewise the triad of time.
