Rishi: Traditionally ascribed within the Vājasaneyin liturgical corpus to the ritual lineage (often left unspecified in Saṃhitā-prayoga lists); associated here with Mitra–Varuṇa hymnic diction
Devata: Mitra–Varuṇa
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (by cadence and pāda-length typical of RV-style dual-invocations)

Put ye forth your arms for our life; bedew for us the cow-track with clarified butter. Make me heard among the folk, ye youthful twain: heard be my call, O Mitra and Varuṇa, these invocations!
