तदानवसरादेव द्वाःस्थैर्द्वारि निवारिताः । मुनयो ब्रह्मभवनाद्बहिः पार्श्वमुपाविशन्

Then, because it was not the proper moment for an audience, the gatekeepers stopped the sages at the doorway. The munis therefore sat down outside, to the side of Brahmā’s abode, waiting with restraint and decorum.
