Placing (nyāsa) the five Brahma-mantras together with their seed-syllables upon the five corresponding loci by means of the five nyāsas, one should worship them fully; then, having displayed the mudrās and the other ritual signs, one should protect the rite and oneself with consecratory safeguarding.

It teaches that disciplined inner installation (nyāsa) and reverent worship of Shiva’s pañcabrahma aspects purify the practitioner’s body-mind as a fit seat for Pati (Shiva), loosening pāśa (bondage) and orienting one toward liberation.
Nyāsa, bīja, and mudrā are preparatory acts that sacralize the worshipper and the rite before approaching Saguna Shiva in the Linga; the five aspects are contemplated as Shiva’s manifest powers expressed through mantra and ritual form.
Perform pañcabrahma-nyāsa with the associated bīja-mantras, offer complete worship, show the prescribed mudrās, and conclude with protective acts (rakṣā/kavaca) to seal the sādhana.
