The verse highlights that auspiciousness (maṅgala) flows through Śiva-bhakti: those who worship Śiva with genuine inner disposition (sadbhāva) and align with the divine ordinance become channels of grace, reflecting the Shaiva Siddhanta emphasis on Śiva’s anugraha (bestowing grace).
It supports Saguna worship by affirming Śiva-arcana (ritual devotion) as a means to receive blessings; in practice this includes Liṅga-pūjā performed with right intention, where honoring the ‘ājñā’ of Śiva-Śakti means following prescribed Shaiva worship and dharma.
The takeaway is to perform Śiva-pūjā with śiva-sadbhāva—pure intent—while observing Shaiva discipline: recite the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and seek maṅgala by respectfully following the worship-ordinances associated with Śiva (such as cleanliness, sincerity, and regular devotion).
