Determination of the Measures of Time

प्रजाः प्रजानां पतयो मूर्तयश्च सुरासुराः । इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थाश्च महाभूतानि पञ्च च

Transliteration

prajāḥ prajānāṃ patayo mūrtayaśca surāsurāḥ | indriyāṇīndriyārthāśca mahābhūtāni pañca ca

Translation

Beings and the lords of beings; embodied forms; the devas and the asuras; the senses and their objects; and also the five great elements—all these (arise and function) within the Lord’s all-pervading order, with Śiva as the supreme Pati who governs the bound souls and their bonds.
