शिवतेजसः समुद्रे बालरूपप्रादुर्भावः (Śiva’s Tejas Manifesting as a Child in the Ocean)
भविष्यति च गंभीरस्त्वं यथा समरे गुहः । सर्वजेता च संग्रामे सर्वसंपद्विराजितः
bhaviṣyati ca gaṃbhīrastvaṃ yathā samare guhaḥ | sarvajetā ca saṃgrāme sarvasaṃpadvirājitaḥ
You shall become steadfast and deep in resolve, like Guha (Kārttikeya) in battle. In war you shall conquer all, and you shall shine, adorned with every prosperity and excellence.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
The verse presents Shiva’s anugraha (grace) as the source of inner gravity (gaṃbhīratā), victory over opposing forces, and the flourishing of auspicious qualities—showing that true success arises when one is aligned with Shiva’s will and dharma.
As Saguna Shiva, the compassionate Lord actively bestows protection, steadiness, and triumph upon devotees. Linga-worship in the Purana is repeatedly linked with receiving Shiva’s grace that transforms the devotee’s destiny and empowers righteous action.
Cultivate gaṃbhīratā through daily japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and simple Linga-pūjā with devotion; this steadiness is the inner discipline that supports victory over inner and outer obstacles.
