Description of the Sages’ Questions
सद्यः प्रसन्नो भगवान्भवतीत्यनुशश्रुम । भक्तप्रयासं स महान्न पश्यति दयापरः
sadyaḥ prasanno bhagavānbhavatītyanuśaśruma | bhaktaprayāsaṃ sa mahānna paśyati dayāparaḥ
We have heard that the Blessed Lord Bhava (Śiva) is pleased at once when one approaches Him with devotion. That Great One, ever intent on compassion, does not even take note of the devotee’s strain and hardship.
