Then Viṣṇu and all the gods, along with the sages and the attendant gaṇas, bowed down and praised (Śiva) in many ways; and, filled with joy, they raised a triumphant cry of victory.

It highlights that even exalted beings like Viṣṇu, the devas, sages, and gaṇas approach Śiva through humility (namaskāra) and devotion (stuti), affirming Śiva as the supreme refuge (Pati) honored by all.
The verse depicts Saguna-upāsanā—worship of the manifest Lord through bowing, praise, and victory acclamations. Such acts are central to Linga worship as well, where devotees offer namaskāra and stotras to the visible symbol of Śiva’s presence.
Practice namaskāra with heartfelt stuti (recitation of Śiva-stotras) and conclude with a jaya-ghoṣa (victory invocation such as “Jaya Śiva”), optionally supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
