अहं ह्यधिकृतस्तेन सर्वमभ्युदयोचितम् । अकुर्वं मुनिभिः प्रीत्या तत्र तत्कर्म चादरात्

Indeed, appointed by him, I performed everything fitting for auspicious prosperity; and there, with the sages pleased, I carried out that rite with devotion and due reverence.
Suta Goswami (narrating the account within the Parvati Khanda to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pashu
The verse emphasizes Shaiva dharma: when an action is ordained by rightful authority and performed with devotion and reverence, it becomes spiritually elevating—supporting purity of mind and readiness for Shiva’s grace.
It reflects the proper attitude for Saguna Shiva worship—performing prescribed rites (karma) for Shiva with ādarā (reverence) and bhakti, which aligns outer ritual with inner surrender.
The takeaway is disciplined performance of one’s appointed Shiva-oriented observances—such as vrata, pūjā, japa of the Panchakshara, and respectful conduct in sacred rites—done with heartfelt reverence.
