Brahmā said: Beholding that divine deed of the all-pervading Lord, Hari and the other gods were greatly pleased; their minds became firmly anchored in faith and trust in Him.
Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
The verse highlights that direct recognition of the Lord’s divine action awakens prasāda (inner clarity and joy) and stabilizes viśvāsa (faith). In a Shaiva Siddhanta reading, this points to Śiva’s grace turning the mind away from doubt and toward steadfast devotion.
By stressing faith born from witnessing the Lord’s carita (manifest deeds), the verse supports Saguna worship—approaching Śiva through His revealed actions and forms (including the Liṅga) until devotion becomes firm and grace becomes experiential.
The practical takeaway is to cultivate viśvāsa through regular Śiva-smaraṇa: daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") with sincere trust, supported by simple Śiva-pūjā (e.g., offering water to the Liṅga) to steady the mind in devotion.
