कुमाराद्भुतचरितवर्णनम् — Description of Kumāra’s Wondrous Deeds
कार्त्तिक उवाच । वधयोग्यो न विप्राऽजः स्वगृहं गच्छ नारद । पूर्णोऽस्तु तेऽध्वरस्सर्वः प्रसादादेव मे कृतः
kārttika uvāca | vadhayogyo na viprā'jaḥ svagṛhaṃ gaccha nārada | pūrṇo'stu te'dhvarassarvaḥ prasādādeva me kṛtaḥ
Kārttikeya said: “This goat, born of a Brāhmaṇa line, is not fit to be slain. Return to your own home, O Nārada. By my grace, let your entire sacrificial rite be brought to completion—indeed, it is accomplished through my favor alone.”
