It emphasizes that sacred order is upheld through purified offering (Agni) and sanctifying mantra (Vedic speech), showing how divine vitality and generative power arise when actions are aligned with dharma—an idea consistent with Shaiva Siddhanta where right ritual supports inner purification and grace.
Linga worship in the Shiva Purana is centered on properly sanctified offerings and mantra. The verse mirrors that principle: offerings become fit through consecration (like naivedya to Shiva) and mantra-shakti, supporting saguna worship that leads the devotee toward Shiva’s higher realization.
Offer food or oblations only after sanctification—by mantra and purity of intention. As a Shaiva takeaway, perform Shiva-puja with mantra (especially the Panchakshara, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and offer naivedya in a consecrated manner, treating the act as a disciplined sadhana.
