द्वारपाल-गणेशसंवादः / The Dialogue at the Gate: Gaṇeśa and Śiva’s Gaṇas
स्त्रिया ग्रहः कथं कार्यो पत्युरग्रे विशेषतः । कृत्वा सा गिरिजा तस्य नूनं फलमवाप्स्यति
striyā grahaḥ kathaṃ kāryo patyuragre viśeṣataḥ | kṛtvā sā girijā tasya nūnaṃ phalamavāpsyati
How could a woman seize hold or press a claim, especially in the very presence of her husband? If Girijā acts so toward him, she will surely receive the fruit—the consequence—of that deed.
