Daily adoration of Agni as sacrificial power (ojas) and foe-crusher, approached with reverence at the two sandhyās

प्रति त्यं चारुमध्वरं गोपीथाय प्र हूयसे मरुद्भिरग्न आ गहि

prati tyaṃ cārumadhvaraṃ gopīthāya pra hūyase marudbhiragna ā gahi

In regard of that fair sacrificial service, for our guardianship thou art solemnly invoked; do thou, Agni, come hither with the Maruts.
