Shloka 2.84.14
गुहस्य सन्देहः, गङ्गातीर-रक्षा, भरतस्य सत्कारः (Guha’s Suspicion, Securing the Ganga Bank, and Hospitality to Bharata)
एतत्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा सुमन्त्राद्भरत श्शुभम्।उवाच वचनं शीघ्रं गुहः पश्यतु मामिति।।।।
etat tu vacanaṃ śrutvā sumantrād bharataḥ śubham |
uvāca vacanaṃ śīghraṃ guhaḥ paśyatu mām iti ||
Hearing these auspicious words from Sumantra, Bharata promptly replied, “Let Guha meet me at once.”
On hearing these auspicious words of Sumantra, Bharata said Let Guha see me at once.
Prompt, respectful engagement: a leader should quickly meet a relevant ally/informant to pursue truth and act responsibly.
Bharata, accepting Sumantra’s counsel, orders that Guha be brought for audience immediately.
