Transliteration

kriyatāṃ śilpibhiḥ panthāḥ samāni viṣamāṇi ca |

rakṣiṇaś cānusamyāntu pathi durgavicārakāḥ ||

Translation

Let artisans prepare the road, leveling the uneven stretches, and let guards skilled in assessing difficult terrain accompany the party along the route.
