Kaikeyī should send even me away at once—to wherever my son Rāma, greatly renowned, the golden-naveled, now dwells.

Kaikeyi should send me also without any delay to that place where my illustriousRama with golden navel dwells.

Dharma is loyalty to the righteous: Kauśalyā prefers sharing Rāma’s hardship over remaining amid injustice, affirming solidarity with satya and dharma.

Kauśalyā, overwhelmed by separation, declares she too should be exiled to wherever Rāma is living.

Maternal devotion and steadfast attachment to dharmic conduct, valuing virtue over comfort or status.
