Transliteration

yā gatis sarvabhūtānāṃ tāṃ gatiṃ te pitā gataḥ |

rājā mahātmā tejasvī yāyajūkas satāṃ gatiḥ || 2.72.15 ||

Translation

Your father has gone to the destiny that comes to all living beings. That king—great-souled and radiant, ever devoted to sacrifice—was a refuge for the virtuous.
