Shloka 2.59.25
एकोनषष्ठितमः सर्गः (Sarga 59): सुमन्त्रवाक्यं, अयोध्याविषादः, दाशरथिशोकसागरः
सूत यद्यस्ति ते किञ्चिन्मया तु सुकृतं कृतम्।त्वं प्रापयाऽऽशु मां रामं प्राणास्सन्त्वरयन्तिमाम्।।2.59.25।।
sūta yady asti te kiñcin mayā tu sukṛtaṃ kṛtam | tvaṃ prāpaya āśu māṃ rāmaṃ prāṇāḥ santvarayanti mām || 2.59.25 ||
O charioteer, if I have ever done you even the least good, then quickly take me to Rāma—my very life-breath is hurrying me toward death.
O Charioteer, if ever I have rendered you any favour, quickly take me to Rama. My life is hastening me (fast running out).
It highlights reciprocity and loyalty: Daśaratha appeals to past goodwill as a moral bond, urging prompt compassionate action in a moment of crisis.
