चित्रकूटगमनम् तथा पर्णशालाप्रवेशः (Arrival at Chitrakuta and Establishing the Leaf-Hut)
तन्तु पक्वं परिज्ञाय निष्टप्तं छिन्नशोणितम्।लक्ष्मण: पुरुषव्याघ्रमथ राघवमब्रवीत्।।।।
taṃ tu pakvaṃ parijñāya niṣṭaptaṃ chinnaśoṇitam | lakṣmaṇaḥ puruṣavyāghram atha rāghavam abravīt ||
Seeing that it was fully cooked—well roasted and with its blood drained—Lakṣmaṇa then spoke to Rāghava, the tiger among men.
With the blood drained out of the venison, Lakshmana roasted it and cooked it well, and then said to Rama, the tiger (best) among men.
Dharma includes careful readiness: one does not offer what is unprepared; duty is completed thoroughly before proceeding to the sacred act.
Lakṣmaṇa verifies the offering is properly prepared and then informs Rāma that the ritual can proceed.
Lakṣmaṇa’s diligence and attention to correctness in service to Rāma’s dharmic purpose.
