Shloka 2.52.10

गङ्गातरणम्, सुमन्त्र-प्रतिनिवर्तनम्, जटाधारणम् (Crossing the Gaṅgā; Sumantra’s Return; Adoption of Ascetic Signs)

अथोवाच महातेजा रामो गुहमिदं वचः।कृतकामोऽस्मि भवता शीघ्रमारोप्यतामिति।।2.52.10।।

athovāca mahātejā rāmo guham idaṃ vacaḥ | kṛtakāmo 'smi bhavatā śīghram āropyatām iti ||

Then the radiant Rāma said these words to Guha: “Through your help my purpose is fulfilled; let us quickly embark.”

Thereafter the radiant Rama said to Guha, You have fulfilled my desire. Keep all our belongings in the boat.

Kṛtajñatā (gratitude): acknowledging assistance and honoring allies is part of righteous conduct, especially for leaders.

At the river crossing, Rāma addresses Guha after arrangements are made and instructs that they board promptly.

Rāma’s graciousness and efficiency—he thanks Guha and moves forward without confusion or delay.
