In anguish Guha embraced Rāghava and said: “O Rama, this place is for you as Ayodhyā itself. What shall I do for you? O mighty-armed one, who could ever gain the blessed fortune of receiving so dear a guest as you?”

Overwhelmed with grief (to see Rama in bark), Guha embraced Rama and said This is just like Ayodhya to you. What can I do for you? O mighty-armed Rama, who can have the good fortune of receiving such a beloved guest like you?

Atithi-dharma (the duty of honoring a guest) and affectionate loyalty: Guha treats Rama’s presence as sacred and feels responsible to serve him as one would in one’s own home.

Guha meets the exiled Rama, embraces him in grief and devotion, and offers his land and service as if Rama were in Ayodhyā.

Guha’s devotion and generosity—he considers it a privilege to host Rama.
