अभिषेकोपवास-आदेशः (Coronation Preparations and the Fast Enjoined)
प्रजालङ्कारभूतं च जनस्यानन्दवर्धनम्।उत्सुकोऽभूज्जनो द्रष्टुं तमयोध्यामहोत्सवम्।।।।
prajālaṅkārabhūtaṃ ca janasyānandavardhanam |
utsuko 'bhūj jano draṣṭuṃ tam ayodhyāmahotsavam ||
People grew eager to behold that great festival of Ayodhyā—an ornament to the citizens and an occasion that increased everyone’s joy.
People were anxious to witness that great festival of Ayodhya which was to them(precious) like an ornament and a source of immense joy.
Dharma is portrayed as public welfare and shared uplift: a righteous political transition is celebrated because it promises joy and stability to the community.
The populace is eager to see the grand city-wide festivities connected with the impending consecration.
The implied virtue is Rāma’s beneficence as future king—his rule is anticipated as a source of collective happiness.
