लक्ष्मणस्य वनानुगमन-प्रतिज्ञा तथा आयुध-संग्रहः (Lakshmana’s Vow to Follow Rama and the Retrieval of Divine Weapons)

एवं ब्रुवाणस्सौमित्रिर्वनवासाय निश्चितः।रामेण बहुभिस्सान्त्वैर्निषिध्दः पुनरब्रवीत्।।।।

Transliteration

evaṃ bruvāṇaḥ saumitrir vanavāsāya niścitaḥ | rāmeṇa bahubhiḥ sāntvair niṣiddhaḥ punar abravīt ||

Translation

Thus spoke Saumitri, resolved on dwelling in the forest; though restrained by Rāma with many consoling words, he spoke once again.
