सीताया वनानुगमननिश्चयः — Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest
सर्वथा सदृशं सीते मम स्वस्य कुलस्य च।व्यवसायमनुक्रान्ता कान्ते त्वमतिशोभनम्।।2.30.41।।
sarvathā sadṛśaṃ sīte mama svasya kulasya ca |
vyavasāyam anukrāntā kānte tvam atiśobhanam ||2.30.41||
O Sita, my beloved, you have undertaken a most splendid resolve—wholly fitting and worthy of me, of you, and of your noble family.
You, O my lovely beloved Sita, have taken in the right time a highly dignified decision befitting in all ways your family, myself and yourself.
Kula-dharma and personal dharma align: Sita’s decision is praised as ethically appropriate to her lineage, her marital duty, and the demands of the moment.
After Sita insists on accompanying him, Rama affirms her choice as noble and appropriate, strengthening their shared commitment before exile.
