शनैस्तस्मिन्प्रशान्ते च जनघोषे जनाधिपः।।।।वसिष्ठं मुनिशार्दूलं राजा वचनमब्रवीत्।

Transliteration

śanaistasminpraśāntē ca janaghōṣē janādhipaḥ | vasiṣṭhaṃ muniśārdūlaṃ rājā vacanamabravīt ||

Translation

Once that tumult of the people had gradually subsided, the King, the lord of men, spoke these words to Vasiṣṭha, the tiger among ascetics.
