यौवराज्याभिषेक-उपकल्पनम् (Preparations for Rama’s Installation as Yuvaraja)
तस्मै चाभ्युदितं दिव्यं मणिकाञ्चनभूषितम्।।।।दिदेश राजा रुचिरं रामाय परमासनम्।
tasmai cābhyuditaṃ divyaṃ maṇikāñcanabhūṣitam |
dideśa rājā ruciraṃ rāmāya paramāsanam ||
Then the king directed that a splendid, elevated, divine seat—adorned with gems and gold—be set for Rāma.
The king (Dasaratha) offered Rama a seat on the lofty, glorious throne splendidly decorated with gold and gems.
Rajadharma includes honoring merit and rightful status publicly; the king’s act signals legitimate recognition of Rāma’s standing.
Daśaratha formally receives Rāma and gives him a place of honor in the assembly.
