O my son, may the divine powers to whom you bow in shrines and temples protect you in the forest—together with the great sages.
O my son! may the gods in the temples and in other sacred places and the maharshis you bow to protect you in the forest!
Reverence and right conduct: protection is sought through devotion, humility (praṇāma), and alignment with sages and sacred order.
Kausalyā blesses Rāma before exile, invoking the deities of holy places and the sages as guardians.
Piety and trust in dharmic guardianship—seeking safety through righteousness rather than force.
