O king, you have grown aged through the passing of countless years. Therefore, consecrate Rāma as yuvarāja—the heir-apparent, ruler-to-be of the earth.

O mighty king!, you have grown many thousands of years old. Therefore, you should coronate Rama as prince regent of this kingdom.

Dharma is orderly succession for the stability of the realm: when a ruler is advanced in age, installing a qualified heir is presented as a righteous, welfare-oriented act.

The assembly directly urges Daśaratha to perform Rāma’s consecration as yuvarāja.

Rāma’s implied worthiness (fitness to rule) and the kingdom’s concern for continuity of righteous governance.
