As fitting as the council there is, so fitting a messenger has arrived. Surely, this very day the king will consecrate me as heir-apparent.
There worthy of the council of the king and the queen, a befitting messenger has come. Assuredly the king will consecrate me as heirapparent this very day.
It emphasizes orderly governance: succession and authority should proceed through proper counsel and legitimate procedure, reflecting dharma in statecraft.
Rāma concludes from the messenger’s stature and the court’s dignity that his consecration as heir-apparent will occur that very day.
Rāma’s confidence in institutional propriety and his readiness to accept responsibility rather than personal power.
