O King, brāhmaṇas, leading commanders, and merchants have arrived; they seek your audience. Awake, O Rāghava.
O scion of the Raghu dynasty! brahmins, army commanders and merchants have arrived and they beseech your audience. Please awake.
A ruler’s dharma includes accessibility and responsiveness: granting audience to societal pillars (religious, military, commercial) sustains justice and stability.
Sumantra informs the king that key groups have assembled and are waiting to see him.
