“Nor have I been asleep. Bring Rāghava here at once.” Thus King Daśaratha again commanded the charioteer there.
I did not sleep (last night). Bring Rama here at once, said king Dasaratha to the charioteer again.
Steadfastness in obligation: the king insists on immediate execution of a rightful task, reflecting the dharmic need for decisiveness in governance.
Daśaratha reiterates his order to Sumantra to fetch Rāma without delay.
Resolution and administrative clarity—reaffirming the command to prevent drift or disobedience.
