Shloka 2.14.31

सत्यपाशः — Kaikeyi’s Demand and the Noose of the King’s Promise

तदन्तःपुरमासाद्य व्यतिचक्राम तं जनम्।।।।वसिष्ठः परमप्रीतः परमर्षिर्विवेश च।

tadantaḥpuramāsādya vyaticakrāma taṃ janam | vasiṣṭhaḥ paramaprītaḥ paramarṣirviveśa ca ||

Having reached the inner apartment, the eminent sage Vasiṣṭha, exceedingly delighted, passed through the crowd and entered within.

Having reached the inner apartment, the eminent ascetic, Vasistha felt very happy. He passed by the people and entered the inner apartment.
